GENERAL OVERVIEW OF JOB MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES FOR EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
The Executive Vice-President (EVP) is responsible to the Board of Directors for the effective administration of the Realtors® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin, Inc., Northwestern Wisconsin Multiple Listing Service, Inc., and the Realtors® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin Foundation, Inc. (Organizations). The EVP recommends and participates in formulating the Organizations' missions, goals, objectives, and related policies. Within that framework, the EVP plans, organizes, coordinates, controls and directs the Organizations' programs and activities, although many of those responsibilities may be delegated to staff. TheEVP:
- Oversees all operations, programs and activities of the organization and staff within budgeted guidelines and established policies.
- Prepares recommendations for the budget and finances of the Association and MLS.
- Prepares and maintains accurate financial records, including financial statements for the Board of Directors.
- Assists Treasurer in regular review of investments to ensure investment policies are followed.
- Hires, fires, evaluates and adjusts salaries of the Association's employees within the budget approved by the Board of Directors and in compliance with employment guidelines.
- Supports all committees and Boards of Directors.
- Ensures communications and membership updates are effective and timely.
- Ensures the legal integrity of the Association.
- Communicates regularly with Governmental Affairs Directors to ensure the Association is proactive on legislation affecting real property.
- Attends NAR, WRA conventions, AE conferences or other meetings within restraints of the budget.
- Reviews the Strategic Plan regularly to ensure identified goals and objectives are being met through the organizations' programs and services.
- Serves as corporate secretary and a nonvoting member of the board of directors.
- Acts as liaison between Board of Directors and Association counsel.
- Communicate with the media, social organizations, etc; be spokesperson for RANWW. Apply Now
