Education
The Association offers on-going education to help members keep current with new regulations and legislation affecting real estate and to satisfy continuing education requirements. Pre-license classes are offered regularly for people planning a new career in real estate.
Political Involvement
Employees of the Association work with volunteer members to monitor legislative issues on the local level. Members also serve on committees to interview candidates and make recommendations to the general membership for support of candidates. The Association has a Political Actions Committee (PAC) and offers financial support to candidates who
support private property rights.
Real Estate Resource Library
The Association has a collection of books, cassettes and videos available for members to check out at no charge.
Meetings
General Membership meetings are held at locations throughout the Association’s jurisdiction. Because of the large jurisdiction of the Association, meetings of more regional interest are also held in the Dunn-Pepin and Northern Waters areas. The meetings provide an opportunity for members to network in a relaxed atmosphere and hear a short presentation on a topic relating to real estate or the community.
Technology Helpline
Members have access to friendly analysts who have knowledge of how Realtors® use technology to be more productive. They can help with questions on everything from installing new hardware, working with software to using PDAs.
