Eau Claire, WI - The REALTORS® Foundation of Northwestern Wisconsin is giving back to local homeowners in big ways. $9,591 worth of grants have been dispersed to homeowners in need.

“The REALTORS® Foundation of Northwest Wisconsin was established in 2004 to provide grants to our neighbors in need. This year we’ve been fortunate enough to provide grants to several homeowners across our jurisdiction,” said RANWW Executive Vice President Brenda Barnhardt.

This year, $791.00 was granted to a homeowner in Iron River for a new water heater, $5,000 was granted to a homeowner in the Cable area for a new roof, and $3,800 was granted to an Eau Claire homeowner for multiple repair projects.

The Foundation, which is funded completely through the contributions of its members, provides grants to community members in need. The Foundation works with social service agencies, clergy members, and RANWW members to identify grant recipients.

Members throughout the Cable community are coming together to provide the new roof to the grant recipient. A local church, lumber company, and contractor are all collaborating their services together to help their neighbor.

“It is outstanding to see all of the local businesses working together to help make an impact in the community. Knowing our grants provide our neighbors with the essential updates owning a home requires, but they may not be able to provide on their own is truly rewarding,” added RANWW Board of Directors President Stacey McKinney.
