February Wisconsin Housing Sales Robust

Posted: 03.23.21

The winter home sales season set records for the second straight year, according to the latest numbers from the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association.
"February was again strong for sales, even with low inventories, continuing the trend we saw in December and January," said REALTORS® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin Executive Vice President Brenda Barnhardt.
Along with record-setting sales, WRA also reported record-low inventories in February. Still, buyers are motivated to work closely with REALTORS® to find opportunities to find their next home.
In the western region, year-to-date sales in Eau Claire County are up 16.2% from the same period in 2020, and median prices are up 11.7%. Jackson County sales are up 70.6% compared to the same period last year, with prices up 16.9%.
"With continued low mortgage rates, our REALTOR® members are working with buyers to move quickly when they find their perfect home," said Deb Hanson, RANWW Board President.

The REALTORS® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin is the professional trade association that all professional REALTORS® residing within the association jurisdiction belong to. The association provides educational opportunities for its members, is active in local, state and national advocacy efforts, engages in community outreach through charitable giving, operates its own private foundation to help homeowners in need and remains a positive force for the members they serve.
