Eau Claire County, along with the rest of the state, saw homes moving very quickly in June. According to the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association, the average number of days on the market in Eau Claire County is just 67 days. The statewide average is 69 days, which is the lowest figure on record since 2005.

"The combination of low inventory and mortgage rates under 3% is causing home prices to spike in our area," said REALTORS® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin Executive Vice President Brenda Barnhardt.

This June Eau Claire's median home price was $259,000, which is an increase of 30.3% compared to June 2020.

"Now more than ever it is crucial home buyers work with a REALTOR® to guide them through this fast-paced housing market," said Deb Hanson, RANWW Board President.

The REALTORS® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin is the professional trade association that all professional REALTORS® residing within the association jurisdiction belong to. The association provides educational opportunities for its members, is active in local, state and national advocacy efforts, engages in community outreach through charitable giving, operates its own private foundation to help homeowners in need and remains a positive force for the members they serve.
